We welcome contributions of new female STEM pioneers and corrections to existing information! This website is a work in progress, and there may be errors or missing information.

Add a New Pioneer

To add a new pioneer profile:

1. Open an Issue or Pull Request using our templates (see the 'New Pioneer Profile' templates).
2. Create a new JSON file in js/pioneers/ using the provided structure (see add-pioneer.js for a template).
3. Include an image in the images/ folder (JPG, PNG, SVG preferred; use placeholder-woman.svg only if no real image is available).
4. Write a short, engaging description for students.
5. Run linting and formatting tools before submitting.

Report Errors or Corrections

If you spot a mistake, missing information, or have a correction, please let us know on GitHub or contribute directly.

🖼️ Important: All images must be Creative Commons licensed, public domain, or your own original work. We do not accept copyrighted images without proper licensing. See CONTRIBUTING.md for full details and field explanations.
